Course Overview
The Bachelor of Education (Arts) is a 4 year course that is offered by the School of Education. The course aims at producing realistic and practical teachers who will transform their learners into critical thinkers. It trains teachers of English, Literature, Kiswahili, CRE, History, Geography, Business Studies, Mathematics and ICT
Who Can Join
- A holder of a bachelor’s Degree with at least upper second class honors degree from a recognized institution
- A holder of a lower second class degree with 2 years’ experience with proven ability inresearch

Admission Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree course related to Business Administration from an accredited university (Minimum Upper Second Class or GPA 2.5 on a scale of 4) OR
- Bachelor’s degree related to Business Administration courses from an accredited university (Minimum Lower Second Class with two years’ experience OR
- Any Senate approved Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Minimum Upper Second Class or GPA 2.5 on a scale of 4) OR
- Any Senate approved Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Minimum Lower Second Class with two years’ experience.

Mode of Delivery
- This is a fulltime programme.
- The Course is highly practical thus demands for physical attendance classes. Some of the units are however blended with both physical and virtual modes.
